Bring a touch of iconic mid-century modern style home with this charming Charley Harper Cardinal ceramic art tile, handcrafted by Motawi Tileworks. Inspired by celebrated Cincinnati wildlife artist Charley Harper (1922–2007) and his 1970 print Red and Fed, the design showcases Harper’s signature geometric simplicity and playful interpretation of nature. Motawi handcrafts these tiles in its Ann Arbor, Michigan studio using traditional techniques and carefully applied glazes. This 4" x 4" cardinal tile is beautifully displayed in a substantial oak-style frame, making it ready to hang and enjoy. Its brilliant red cardinal makes a wonderful accent for bird lovers, art collectors, Cincinnati enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates distinctive American craftsmanship. ❤️ A beautiful combination of Cincinnati art history, nature, and handcrafted design.
